THE SEARCH
In my 18 years here in VSU (Visayas State University) I always admire the majestic statue of "Malakas and Maganda". It is one of the university's symbol called "Search for Truth". It was built during the presidential years of Dr. Bernardo. The symbol is located infront of the Administration building of VSU main campus.
If this symbol means searching for truth, did they really found the truth? Or are they still searching for it. In my entire life, I lived in this campus so I learned lots of lessons, principles, laws, truths, and many more. After all learning those lessons, I asked to myself, what if all the things here in earth and outside the earth will end will these things live forever? (hmmmmm...)
In the bible, especially in the book of Matthew is says " heaven and Earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away". Alas! This is the one I've been searching for . . . the Living Word of God.
THE TRUTH
In the Holy Bible, there was a man named Jesus. He was a son of a virgin named Mary and his father Joseph a carpenter. When he was about 30 years old, he began his ministry. But before he began his ministry he was baptized by John the Baptist, then after that he went to the towns to minister. During his journey, there were 12 disciples who followed him and they were called as the Apostles.
After three years in his ministry, he knew that one of his apostles will betray him. And so, Judas Iscariot was the one who betrayed him. The pharisees and most of the people didn't like him so they decide that he should be crucified and after for a few hours he died. Three days after he was ressurected and was seen by the apostles, his friends, more than 5oo people, and later on Paul the Apostle of the Gentiles.
He suffered and died for our sins and was raised on the third day is really true. The Bible says in John 14:6 that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and no comes to the Father but through him.
THE DECISION
In John 3:18 it says that "whosoever believeth in the Son of God is not condemned but whosoever did not believe he is condemned already". John 3:16 also support this verse.

If you are concerned of your soul, please decide right now. I will tell you how, first, understand that Jesus Christ died for your sins and was ressurected at the third day, also that he is only the one who can save you from death. Second, agree to yourself that you are a sinner and you cannot save yourself. And third, you must depend only to Jesus Christ that he will save you from your sins and that he will give you eternal life. Pray to Jesus Christ that you are a sinner and you need forgiveness of sins and to have eternal life, and that you will accept him as your Personal Lord and Savior.
And when you do this heartely, the Holy Spirit will dwell in you. So live the life like Christ did and share others about the good news.

"For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good."
Titus 2:11-14
Faith and repentance should always come together. It is either we say we believe Him and with our lives demonstrate it or disregard Him as not our Lord at all.
